Three-Day Youth Plein Air Art Workshop
Join us for an engaging three-session workshop designed for middle and high school students interested in plein air painting! This hands-on experience will introduce young artists to essential techniques in drawing, color theory, and various painting media, all while working outdoors on the farm.

Workshop Dates & Times:
Session 1: May 31, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM (Drawing & Perspective)
Session 2: June 7, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM (Exploring Color)
Session 3: June 14, 9:30 AM - 12:30 PM (Experimenting with Media)
Workshop Overview:
π¨ Day 1: Drawing & Perspective - Learn the basics of perspective, proportions, and shading with guided demonstrations, then practice sketching farm landscapes and buildings.
π¨ Day 2: Exploring Color - Create color wheels, explore warm and cool colors, and mix paints before sketching and painting farm scenes with instructor guidance.
π¨ Day 3: Experimenting with Media - Discover different painting media, including acrylic, watercolor, and colored pencils. Students will choose their preferred medium to create a plein air painting.
This workshop is designed as a progressive learning experience, with each session building on the previous one. Participants will also have the opportunity to observe professional plein air artists at work on the farm.
