Homicide InvestigationDetails Map On 11/30/24 at approximately 8:20 P.M. the SARPD received multiple 911 calls for shots fired/ a male shot at the WAWA, located on West Main Street in Stroudsburg. Upon arrival officers located a 17 year old white male that was shot in the neck area and performed life saving measures until EMS services arrived and took over care of the victim. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he later died from his injuries. The suspect was said to have fled the scene.

Monroe County Coroner Thomas Yanac states that one man is dead after a shooting at the Wawa along West Main Street in Stroudsburg. Shooting under investigation in Luzerne County The Monroe County Coroner's Office was called to the Lehigh Valley Hospital emergency room just before 11:00 p.m. where the man was pronounced dead. Officials say this was an isolated incident, and that Stroud Area Regional Police Department will be conducting the investigation into the shooting.
