HONESDALE, WAYNE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — A woman is facing charges after investigators say she sold various drugs to a confidential informant eight times.

According to the Wayne County District Attorney’s Office, an investigation began where a confidential informant (CI) was used to purchase narcotics from Amanda Reesey of Hawley.
Three houses damaged during firePolice stated on eight separate occasions from October 2024 to December 2024, the CI arranged to buy cocaine, fentanyl, and oxycontin from Reesey.
These purchases involved direct buys in Wayne County and four trips to Monroe County to buy drugs and bring them back to Wayne County, as stated in the release.
Reesey is facing various drug charges. Her bail was set at $150,000.
