Winter Storm Reminders

As Coolbaugh Township DPW begins preparing for the winter weather that is in the forecast, we would like to remind residents that all Vehicles, Basketball Hoops/Nets and all other Equipment/Materials must be removed from the side of the roads and out of the Township Right of Ways. Any vehicles that are parked within the Township Right of Way will be towed at the Owners Expense. If you should have any questions, please visit our website at www.coolbaughtwp.org.

When driving in the winter please allow extra time to ensure safe travels to and from your destination. Always be prepared with supplies in your car including but not limited to a First aid kit, Gloves, hat, scarf, and other warm clothes, Warm blankets or a sleeping bag, Nonperishable food items, such as trail mix or protein bars, Bottled water (ideally several gallons), Reflective gear (wearable), Flags or reflective signage to place around your car, Necessary medications (if applicable) and Hand warmers in case you ever become stranded. Also make sure that you have a cell phone charger to keep your cell phone charged to enable you to call for help in an emergency.

Your safety is our priority and our DPW staff are on the roads throughout all storms working to provide roads that are safe for travel. As always, during winter storms, if you do not have to be on the roads, please stay home and allow our team to clear the roads.
