On 3/7/2024 at 8:08 pm the Stroud Area Regional Police Department was dispatched to the Walmart in East Stroudsburg for a report of a retail theft. It was reported that a female was removing price tickets from various items and then concealing them. She attempted to leave the store without paying for the items and was stopped by the loss prevention officer. The total amount of theft was $210.49. The female was identified as Caitlin Deibler. Deibler was taken to the Monroe County Correctional Facility for processing and released. Charges for retail theft were filed and a warrant was issued for Deibler's arrest.
