STROUD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police say they need help identifying a suspect after he allegedly stole two lawnmowers from Home Depot.
According to the Stroud Area Regional Police Department, on June 24 around 4:54 p.m., officers were dispatched to Home Depot on Pocono Commons Drive for a reported retail theft.
Police say the man pictured below first stole two Dewalt 21-inch push mowers valued at $1,198.00.
Two charged after kidnapping, rape in Monroe CountyOfficers stated the suspect tried to commit a second theft by taking a washer-dryer combo on display, however, he was stopped.
Police noted the man then stole two Dewalt self-propelled push mowers valued at $1,398.00.
Officials say the suspect loaded the items in an older model Dodge Durango.
