NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Zoning Hearing Board of the Borough of Stroudsburg will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, beginning at 4:30 p.m., in the Borough’s meeting room at 700 Sarah Street, 2nd Floor, Stroudsburg, PA 18360 to consider the application of D&E OZ, LLC for variances from the Borough’s Zoning Ordinance. Specifically, the applicant seeks variances from § 27-402.2, § 27-501, and Attachment 2 (Table of Regulations Governing the Size of Lots, Yards, and Buildings for Permitted Uses) to construct a two-family dwelling on a property smaller than the 12,000 SF minimum lot area and to construct a covered porch in the 20 foot front yard setback. The subject property is 6,700 SF in area and the proposed covered porch is 15.7 feet from the front yard lot line. D&E OZ, LLC is the owner of record of the subject property, which is located at 520 Brown Street, in the Borough of Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, in the Medium Density Residential (R-2) zoning district. The property is also identified as Parcel ID No. 18-2.1.7.14 and Map No. 18-7301-19-50-5807.
