PUBLIC NOTICE Notice is hereby given that the Matamoras Borough Council will conduct a Public Hearing, and thereafter may vote upon and potentially enact an Ordinance regulating Loitering. If enacted, the Ordinance will be codified as Chapter 86 of the Borough Code, and shall: define and prohibit loitering in public places, authorize police officers to request that a person deemed to be loitering leave the public place, and provide penalties for violations (defining violations as summary offenses and setting a schedule of maximum fines). The proposed Ordinance is available for inspection at the Matamoras Borough Office, 10 Avenue I, Matamoras. The Hearing shall take place on October 8, 2024 7:00 p.m. at the Matamoras Borough Hall, 10 Avenue I, Matamoras, Pennsylvania. Eric Kudrich, Council President Jason R.
