NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Hamilton Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing at the Hamilton Township Municipal Building, 229 Fenner Avenue, Sciota, Pennsylvania 18354 commencing at 6:30 p.m., prevailing time, on October 1, 2024 for the purpose of hearing the Application of the US Fish & Wildlife Service for: (i) Special Exception approval of Lot B to be a US FWS Conservation Area for the Protection of Endangered Wildlife; and (ii) a variance from the requirements of Section 401.2, Schedule II of the Zoning Ordinance and Note 5 on Schedule II for a variance from the minimum lot size in a flood zone for property located at 306 Golf Course Road, Saylorsburg, PA 18353 bearing Monroe County Tax Assessment Property No. 07.10.1.83 which property is located in Zoning District C-1. The property in question is presently owned by George R. Kitchen and Linda M. Kitchen. The property in question contains 10.5479 acres and is more particularly described in a certain deed recorded in the Monroe County Recorder’s Office in Record Book Volume 2389, Page 209 and is depicted in a drawing recorded in Monroe County Map Book Volume 83, Page 124. The parcel is proposed to be subdivided into Parcel A containing 3.5127 acres and Parcel B containing 7.0322 acres. Parcel B is to be permanently maintained as a Federal Conservation Area. A copy of the Applicant’s Application, the full text of the Township Zoning Ordinance, and a complete copy of the Township Zoning Map are available for public inspection prior to the date of the hearing which inspection must occur at the Hamilton Township Municipal Building, 229 Fenner Avenue, Sciota, Pennsylvania 18354 between the hours of 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., prevailing time, Monday through Friday on business days which are not Federal or State public holidays. The public and all interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and to present all relevant evidence in connection therewith.
