NOTICE TO BIDDERS SEALED PROPOSALS will be accepted by Hamilton Township until 12:00 PM on June 10, 2024 at the Hamilton Township Building, P.O. Box 285; 229 Fenner Avenue, Sciota PA 18354, for the following Contract: “2024 Seal Coat Project” on various roads in Hamilton Township, Monroe County 64504 SY Double Bituminous Seal Coat; 9137 SY Single Seal Coat; 22452 SY Type II Slurry Seal and 5000 LBS Hot Pour Mastic All materials must meet PENNDOT Pub. 408 Specifications and Standards. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Proposals shall be marked “2024 Seal Coat”. Proposal forms, specifications and bid information can be obtained at the Hamilton Township Municipal Building at the above address or by calling Lawrence Buzzard, Roadmaster, at 570-992-7020, Monday thru Friday 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Hamilton Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. All bids will be opened and read publicly at 12:00 PM on June 10, 2024, at the Township Building, and pending review, awarded at the Board of Supervisors meeting at 4:00 PM on June 10, 2024. Hamilton Township reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and may also waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.
