EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Tuesday evening that road restrictions and reduced speed limits on PA Interstates have been lifted.
According to the PennDOT, the restrictions and speed limit reductions put into place due to the weather, have been lifted on the following roadways:
- Interstate 80,
- Interstate 81,
- Interstate 84,
- Interstate 380
PennDOT added that all speed limit restrictions that were placed across East Central PA have been restored in the following counties:
- Berks,
- Carbon,
- Lehigh,
- Monroe,
- Northampton
PennDOT says crews will continue to treat roadways in the area until they're clear.
