NTHS inducts four SHS seniors

On November 29 and 30th, four Stroudsburg students were celebrated as inductees of the National Technical Honor Society.

Congratulations to Arlene Barbaran, 12, Health Occupations program; Fatou Faye, 12, Health Occupation program; Bryannah Zimmerman, 12, Cosmetology program; Ryan Jean, 12, Computer Information Science program. Barbaran, Faye, and Zimmerman were honored as second-year members while Jean was honored as a first-year member.

Members have exclusive access to scholarship opportunities, letters of recommendation, and discounts on school supplies with participating companies like Lenovo. Members can also utilize the many career resources and benefits from resume builders to OSHA training courses.

The National Technical Honor Society (NTHS) is a non-profit educational organization that recognizes and empowers both students and teachers in the Career and Technical Education field that “strives to help connect education and industry to build a highly skilled workforce”.  The NHTS has inducted nearly a million students since its 1984 origin and annually awards $300,000 in scholarships to help students pursue post-secondary education.
