An Officer with The Pocono Township Police Department conducted a traffic stop on a red Subaru for an expired and suspended registration in Tannersville. Through an investigation, the driver Schuyler Hecht was placed under arrest on the suspicion of driving under the influence of a controlled substance. The vehicle was towed from the scene and Hecht was transported to the Monroe County DUI Center for processing. Charges are pending while awaiting the results of a blood analysis.
