PUBLIC NOTICE PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT the Borough Council of the Borough of East Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, will hold a Public Hearing on a proposed Ordinance 1408-24 of the Borough of East Stroudsburg Fixing the Real Estate Tax Rate for the Year 2025. The Public Hearing will be held on December 17, 2024 at 7:15 PM. in Council Chambers of the East Stroudsburg Borough Municipal Building, 24 Analomink Street, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301. Following the Public Hearing, the Ordinance will be considered for final adoption. That a tax be and the same is hereby levied on all real property within the Borough of East Stroudsburg subject to taxation for the fiscal year 2025 a sum of 7.9654 mills as follows: Tax Rate for General Fund 6.3841 Tax Rate for Street Fund 0.0 Tax Rate for Fire Apparatus Fund .0575 Tax Rate for Recreation Fund .4464 Tax Rate for Street Lighting Fund 0.0 Tax Rate for Pension Fund .1107 Tax Rate for Debt Service Fund .9668 Any Ordinance, or part of an Ordinance, conflicting with the Ordinance be and the same is hereby repealed insofar as the same affects this Ordinance. A copy of the full text of the proposed Ordinance may be examined by any citizen during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM, prevailing local time) in the Office of the Borough Manager located at the East Stroudsburg Municipal Building, 24 Analomink Street, East Stroudsburg, PA 18301. A copy of the same is posted on the East Stroudsburg Borough Website (eaststroudsburgboro.org). A copy of the same is on file and may be inspected at the Monroe County Law Library, in Stroudsburg, PA, 18360, and a copy of the full text of the proposed Ordinance has also been provided to the Pocono Record.
