NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Stroud Township Board of Supervisors will conduct a public hearing at the Stroud Township Municipal Center, 1211 N. 5th Street, Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania 18360, on October 29, 2024, beginning at 3:00 P.M. The purpose of the hearing is to determine if there is a dangerous structure in violation of the Dangerous Structure provisions of the Stroud Township Code of Ordinances (§§ 10-301-10-308), on property located at 2352 Grey Fox Drive, Stroudsburg, Stroud Township, Pennsylvania. The property is owned by J. Edison Adams and Janice Adams, and is further identified as Monroe County Parcel ID # 17.117450 and Map # 17-7209-01-39-6323. The Board of Supervisors received a report from its Code Enforcement Officer that a house on the property is in a dangerous condition constituting a nuisance in violation of § 10-302 of the Code. The property owners, occupants, mortgagees, lessees, agents and all other persons having an interest in this property are hereby given notice of the opportunity to appear before the Board at the above referenced hearing to show cause why the house reported to be a dangerous building should not be repaired, vacated or demolished in accordance with the standards and requirements of § 10-305 of the Code. The hearing will be conducted under the Local Agency Law, 2 Pa.C.S. § 551-555. The public and all interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and to present any relevant evidence in connection with this matter.
