On Tuesday, July 25 East Stroudsburg University hosted a one-day camp in partnership with the Pennsylvania Science Olympiad.
The camp was for middle school aged children with an interest in STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics).
The students did four STEM activities with the help of experienced Science Olympiad coaches.
The students were also given tours of a chemistry lab, the Schisler Museum and McMunn Planetarium, and ESU’s observatory, all located in the Hoeffner Science and Technology Center.
The camp was offered to students free of charge thanks to a grant from the R. Dale and Frances M. Hughes Foundation.
