On 04/30/2024 the Stroud Area Regional Police were requested to investigate an incident that occurred on 04/16/2023 at 11:54 hours at Dunkelberger's Sports Outfitters on Main Street in Stroudsburg. During the investigation it was learned that Charles J. Morreale attempted to purchase a firearm and provided misinformation. Morreale has previous convictions which prevent him from purchasing or owning a firearm in Pennsylvania.
