On 7/20/2024 Stroud Area Regional Police were dispatched to a report of a physical domestic on Braeside Avenue in East Stroudsburg. Upon arrival spoke with the victim who related that Nelson D. Marty had been arguing about infidelity and he shoved her onto the cement basement floor and made threats. Nelson then grabbed her cell phone and tablet from out of her hand. The victim sustained injuries to her right leg and ankle along with scrapes to her right elbow and left hand. Nelson fled the scene prior to police arrival.

Charges were filed and a warrant for Nelson D. Marty was issued for his arrest.
