On 7/22/2021 at 6: 22 p.m. Stroud Area Regional Police while on patrol on North 9th Street in the area of Firehouse Lane came upon a vehicle with a violation of the vehicle code. A traffic stop was conducted in the parking lot of the McDonald's on North 9th Street. After identifying the male driver, the female passenger was identified as Kerri Labar. A consent search of the vehicle found a small black pouch on the floor of the front seat passenger. In the pouch was plastic zip-lock bags containing a clear/white crystal-like substance and several empty plastic zip-lock bags. In the back seat was located a cardboard box that contained numerous empty wax paper bags and several more empty plastic zip-lock bags. All known to be packaging for illegal narcotic substances. The clear/white crystal-like substance was sent to the crime lab for testing.
Charges were filed and a bench warrant for Kerri Nicole Labar was issued for failure to appear for court.
A second incident occurred on 7/23/2021 at 8:29 p.m. when Stroud Area Regional Police were dispatched to the Giant supermarket at 300 Lincoln Avenue, East Stroudsburg for a report of a retail theft. Loss prevention reported that a female came into the store and selected multiple cases of Red Bull and soft drinks and placed them in a shopping cart. Once the shopping cart was full, she made her way to the front of the store and attempted to leave without paying for $661.74 worth of merchandise. The shopping cart locking mechanism engaged and the cart was immobile. The female was then accompanied by a male and they both attempted to move the shopping cart without success. Both then left the store and left in a vehicle together. After further investigation and viewing of the store security video, the female was identified as Kerri Nicole Labar and the male as David Keith Rodriguez.
Charges were filed and bench warrant for Kerri Nicole Labar was issued for failure to appear for court and an arrest warrant was issued for David Keith Rodriguez.
Kerri Labar also uses the name Kerri Lebar.
