ATTEMPT TO LOCATE- OLDER WARRANT

On 8/3/2023 at 5:31 p.m. Stroud Area Regional Police were dispatched to 10 North Fourth Street, Stroudsburg Borough for a report of a physical domestic. Upon arrival the officer spoke to the victim who related that her boyfriend Derrick Kerney started to argue after the victim broke his PlayStation. The victim then related that Kerney wrapped his hands around her neck and started to choke her and she was unable to breathe. Kerney then put her in a head lock and drug her backwards out the back door onto the porch. The Defendant Kerney then went back into the house and locked the door, leaving the victim outside. Kerney left prior to police arrival.

Charges were filed against Derrick Jarrell Kerney, and a felony warrant was issued for his arrest. Kerney could possibly be in the Tobyhanna, PA area.
