On 5/19/2023 Stroud Area Regional Police were dispatched to LVHN-Pocono in East Stroudsburg for a male identified as Michael Edward Friedhoff sleeping in the emergency room waiting room. Friedhoff was not a patient, was refusing to check in to be treated and refusing to leave the hospital. Friedhoff had been previously told that he could not sleep in the waiting room and given notice of trespass. Friedhoff was taken into custody and transported to MCCF for processing. Charges were filed and an arrest warrant was issued for Friedhoff for Defiant Trespass.
