Two charged after kidnapping, rape in Monroe County

SMITHFIELD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Two men have been charged after police say they kidnapped, bound, and raped four women in Monroe County.

According to a release from Pennsylvania State Police (PSP), on Tuesday, June 25, a call was made stating that four women had been kidnapped and that the caller had spotted two of them in a vehicle.

Police would go on to say they found the suspected vehicle at a Walmart in Mount Pocono containing one victim and a suspect, Isaiah Rogers-Keeney. Shortly afterward, a second victim walked out of the store with the second suspect, Davaun Carlon Jackson.

Through investigation, police say Rogers-Keeney and Jackson had taken four victims to a shipping container located on Jackson's property where three of them were bound with rope. Jackson then allegedly threatened the victims, and sexually assaulted two of them.

Jackson faces charges for kidnapping, robbery, rape, terroristic threats, sexual assault, unlawful restraint, false imprisonment, and other related charges.

Rogers-Keeney is being charged as an accomplice.

The condition of the four victims has not been disclosed at this time.
