STROUD TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced Tuesday that a tractor-trailer rolled over on Interstate 80 East.
Officials said the rollover crash happened around 3:20 p.m. Tuesday just before Exit 303 on the interstate.
Interstate travel slowed down as first responders were on the scene but returned to normal around 4:45 p.m. according to PennDOT.
Pennsylvania State Police say a car cut off the tractor-trailer causing the tractor-trailer to swerve. While attempting to avoid the car, the driver overcompensated, tipped over, and crashed through a guard rail destroying it.
