TUNKHANNOCK TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU)— Interstate 80 West was shut down at the I-380 interchange following a crash that injured three Tuesday morning.
Officials say first responders were called to a reported two-vehicle crash involving a tractor-trailer at mile marker 289 around 6:20 a.m.
According to state police, a white box truck lost control and overturned onto its driver's side. A Lexus SUV then collided with the undercarriage of the box truck, PSP said.
Dog attack concerns raised in Monroe CountyState police say the driver of the white box truck was injured and taken to Lehigh Valley Poconos for treatment. The driver and passenger of the SUV were both injured and taken to Geisinger Wyoming Valley for medial treatment.
Interstate 80 West was shut down starting at the Interstate 380 interchange for eight hours.As of 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, the right lane is open for traffic.
