(WBRE/WYOU) — State police announced DUI checkpoints placed across various roadways in Pennsylvania resulted in three arrests.
Police say checkpoints and roving patrols were placed as they search for impaired drivers throughout Carbon and Monroe counties between June 20-22.

According to Pennsylvania State Police, sobriety checkpoints and roving patrols aim to deter drinking and driving. Police say they are operating with a “zero-tolerance enforcement policy.”
