EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — Amid a weather advisory issued by the National Weather Service, residents in Monroe County and beyond were without power Monday and Tuesday.
As of 4:20 p.m., FirstEnergy Storm Center PA is reporting power for most residents in our coverage area has been restored.
Gas leak shuts down section of OlyphantMeanwhile, PPL is reporting a total of over 2,100 of their customers in our coverage area are still without power with about almost 1,000 of that number being from Wayne County.
According to FirstEnergy Storm Center PA and PPL, the total of customers in our viewing area without power was as high as 28,000.
