According to the criminal complaint, police were called on Tuesday just before 12:00 p.m. to Momento's Restaurant after Morris beat a 60-year-old man with a belt before stabbing him in the parking lot.
Police say when they arrived, the victim was lying motionless before being transported to a local hospital.
Man shot in forehead during road rage incident, DA saysMorris was taken into custody after being identified by a witness as the attacker, authorities explained.
The victim told officials he was going to feed wildlife near an abandoned building in the area when he thought he saw a friend sleeping near the back part of the building, not knowing it was Morris.
Morris then allegedly attacked the victim with a belt and a tree branch due to the victim walking up to him, according to court documents.
