Storm system hits NEPA for Thanksgiving

EYEWITNESS WEATHER (WBRE/WYOU)  A storm system moving in early Thursday could bring rain and snow on Thanksgiving Day.

The best chance of accumulating snow will be north of I-80 and in the higher elevations.

This could lead to potential travel impacts, on an already expected busy traffic day.

Most precipitation will come to an end by sunset on Thanksgiving Day.

By Friday, expect a few lake-effect snow showers, with the weekend quieting down with more clouds than sun. However, it will be cold with highs in the 30s and mid-40s.
