Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on

How long have you been at SASD?
28 years!

What is your favorite part of being in the Stroudsburg district?
So many things! Students, Staff and the relationships I have built. I’m lucky to be able to teach in the district I grew up in and to raise my family as Mountaineers is definitely a big bonus.

If you had gone into another profession, what would it be and why?
I think I would have ended up doing something in the areas of Psychology or Sociology. I am a helper by nature.

What is one piece of advice you would share with your students?
Don’t be so quick to grow up. Make lasting friendships. Be kind.

If you could have one superpower what would it be and why?
To be able to travel through time.

Who do you look up to?
Mostly everybody…I’m pretty short…hee-hee!

What will your life look like after you retire?
I’m not sure. Definitely there will be lots of traveling.

What is your proudest achievement?
Raising my children to be good human beings.

When you retire one day, what will you miss most about working at SASD?
The people.

What is something your students have taught you?
To laugh at myself.
