Speed limits restored across Pennsylvania

EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — Due to the severity of the winter storm, PennDOT had temporarily reduced the speed limit and restricted vehicles on multiple highways in Pennsylvania. Since then, the restrictions have been restored to normal.

How much snow will Pennsylvania get on Friday?

PennDOT has restored the speed limit restrictions placed across northeastern PA on the following interstates:

  • Interstate 80 in Luzerne County
  • Interstate 81, south of the Interstate 84 junction in Dunmore in Lackawanna and Luzerne counties
  • Interstate 84 in Lackawanna, Pike, and Wayne counties
  • Interstate 380 in Lackawanna and Wayne counties
  • I-80 in Carbon and Monroe counties
  • I-81 in Schuylkill County
  • I-380 in Monroe County
  • Route 33 in Monroe and Northampton counties
  • U.S. 22 in Lehigh and Northampton counties
  • I-78 in Berks, Lehigh, and Northampton counties
