LONG POND, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — An investigation is underway where snow tracks helped police find possible suspects in a shooting that left a partygoer dead.
According to the Pocono Mountain Regional Police Department, on Sunday, January 12 around 4:40 p.m., officers were called for two people with gunshot wounds at a house on Clover Road in Long Pond.
Once on the scene, detectives say a man was found dead inside the house along with two other men with gunshot wounds, identified as Johangel Farfan and Isaat Ozuna.
Through further investigation, police said they learned the home was rented out for a party and multiple partygoers were in and out of the house. At some point during the evening, an argument happened that led to a gunfight.
Inside the house, officers found drugs and paraphernalia consistent with an open drug sale.

- Johangel Farfan, 23, of Venezuela
- Heymar Padilla-Moyetones, 24 of Venezeula
- Yanny Suarez-Rodriguez, 21, of Venezeula
- Fraimar Vita-Grimar, 21 of Venezula
Police noted that Vita-Grimar was previously involved in a shooting that involved an Airbnb rental in Collbough Township.
While investigating, the shooting officers said they were told of a burglary happening on Mohegan Court that is connected to the shooting on Clover Road.
Police say that when they responded to the house the suspects attempted to break into, they followed footprints in the snow, and found a second house the suspects tried to burglarize. They say they continued searching and found a third home where the suspects were hiding. Those suspects have been identified as Victor Caldera-Malpica, 25 of Venezuela, and Angel Paez-Seguera, 34, of Venezuela.
At this time, investigators are working on identifying the man that was found dead inside the home. They have not stated if charges have been filed for the shooting investigation.
