COURT OF COMMON PLEAS OF MONROE COUNTY FORTY-THIRD JUDICIAL DISTRICT COMMONWEALTH OF PENNSYLVANIA : IN RE: 2023 RESPOSITORY TAX SALE : No. 1709 CV 2024 : NOTICE OF TAX SALE OVERBID DISTRIBUTION - COURT HEARING TO: Ralph K. Jackson, Iris E. Jackson, or their heirs, executors, administrators, successors or assigns; TAKE NOTICE that a Hearing shall be held before the above Court on December 18, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. at the Monroe County Courthouse, 610 Monroe Street, Stroudsburg, PA to determine distribution of overbid funds received by the Monroe County Tax Claim Bureau following the 2023 Repository Tax Sale of the property located at 3107 Beaver Drive in Coolbaugh Township, Monroe County, PA and known by Tax Parcel No. 03.7C.1.138. Marathon Property Investments, LLC, as winning bidder at the said Tax Sale, has contended that there are property assessments due to the Pocono Farms County Club Association, Inc. which serve as a lien on the property, and by law must be paid prior to distribution to prior owners or those who claim the funds through the prior owners. WHEREUPON, the said Court ordered that the Notice in the above form be served by publication as provided for by the Pennsylvania Rules of Civil Procedure Rule 430. Any person with a claim to said overbid funds are notified to appear at the aforementioned hearing and assert their claim to the overbid funds. Christopher S.
