PUBLIC NOTICE Notice of Public Hearing on Proposed equipment financing NOTICE IS HEREBY GIV-EN that the Board of Directors of the Shawnee Fire Company will meet at the time, date, and place noted below in order to hold a public meeting under the re-quirements of Section 147(f) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended, on a proposal that the Shawnee Fire Company enter into a purchase agreement with Pierce Manufacturing and ultimately a lease-purchase agreement to finance all or part of the equipment. Meeting Date/Time: November 19, 2024 at 6:30pm Meeting location: Shawnee Fire House 102 Firehouse lane East Stroudsburg, PA. 18301 To finance the costs of the equipment (described below) and the expenses incidental to the financing, the Shawnee Fire Company proposes to enter into a Master Lease-Purchase agreement in the aggregate principal amount stated below. The Fire Com-pany will pay all rent for the equipment, all expenses of operating, maintenance, and insuring the equipment and all taxes on the equipment. Shawnee Fire Company’s obligations under the agreement will be secured by a security interest in the equipment.
