NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ON TYMAR HOLDINGS, LLC'S APPLICATION FOR CONDITIONAL USE TO ESTABLISH AN EVENT CENTER AT 271 WASHINGTON ST, EAST STROUDSBURG, PA The East Stroudsburg Borough Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at 7:30PM, during a Regular Meeting of Borough Council, at the East Stroudsburg Borough Municipal Building, 24 Analomink St, East Stroudsburg, PA, on the Conditional Use Application of Tymar Holdings, LLC to establish an Event Center pursuant to Chapter 157, Section 157-30 (Ordinance No. 1407) and Section 157-97, Conditional Uses. After the hearing, and during the continuance of the meeting, the Borough Council will, if in order, consider and vote upon the Application as well as conduct any other business which may come before the Borough Council at that time. The Application for Conditional Use seeks the following: The Application of Tymar Holdings, LLC proposes to change the existing Armory use located at 271 Washington Street (Tax Parcel No. 05-3.1.7.25) to an Event Center use. The Event Center is proposing to utilize a combination of on-site and off-site parking pursuant to a Parking Management Plan to fulfill parking requirements of the Event Center Ordinance. The Event Center has frontage on both Washington and Brown Streets with vehicular access limited to Washington Street per PennDOT Highway Occupancy requirements. The Event Center is located in a C-1 Regional Commercial District and adjoins on the north to an R-3 Residential Zoning District with existing residential uses. An Event Center is permitted as a Conditional Use in the C-1 R District, as regulated by Ordinance 1407. The hearing is open to the public. All interested parties are welcome to attend and will have an opportunity to be heard. The Application for Conditional Use can be examined without charge or obtained for a charge not greater than the actual cost of reproduction thereof at the East Stroudsburg Municipal Building at the address set forth above during normal business hours (8 AM to 5 PM, Monday-Friday) and online at the East Stroudsburg Borough Website www.eaststroudsburgboro.org during regular business hours.
