PUBLIC NOTICE Sealed bids will be publicly opened and read by the Board of Supervisors of Stroud Township at their spe-cial meeting scheduled to be held at the Stroud Township Municipal Center, 1211 North Fifth Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360, on Thursday, Au-gust 29, 2024 at 2:15 PM, to consider proposals for con-tracted services to wit: In-stallation of new thermal plastic pavement markings on certain roads in Stroud Township. Contractors shall be Penn-DOT pre-qualified. Contractor shall furnish all materials, equipment, labor and traffic control for the re-placement of all pavement markings per approved sig-nal permit plans in accordance with current applicable sections of PennDOT publications, specifications and standards. All bids must be received by the Township Manager by 11:00 AM on Thursday, August 29, 2024. All bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked “PAVEMENT MAR-KINGS BID”. All bids shall be submitted on forms fur-nished by the municipality. All bids shall be accompanied by a proposal security in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the total bid, in the form of a certified check, bank cashier’s check, or sa-tisfactory bid bond, naming as payee the Township of Stroud. No bid or proposal may be withdrawn for a pe-riod of sixty (60) days after the date above specified for receiving, opening, and reading of bids. All work shall be completed by October 18, 2024. The Stroud Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids or parts thereof, and to waive any defects or irregularities in the proposals. The Board also reserves the right to award the contract to the lowest responsible bidder and to reject any proposal deemed not to be in the best interest of the Township.
