NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TAKE NOTICE that the Pocono Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 beginning at 5:00 P.M., at the Pocono Township Municipal Building, 112 Township Drive, Tannersville, Pennsylvania 18372. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the application of Lindenmere Sports and Arts Center, LLC for a variance from § 470-17(C)(2) of the Pocono Township Zoning Ordinance, which limits the height of a principal building in the Low Density Residential (R-1) zoning district to 35 feet and an accessory building to 25 feet. Applicant operates an existing camp and wants to construct a building that is 57 feet in height. Lindenmere Sports and Arts Center, LLC owns the subject property, which is located at 163 Lindenmere Lane, in Henryville, Pocono Township, PA, in the R-1 district. The property is also identified as Parcel ID No. 12.6.2.56 and Map No. 12-6373-04-54-6372. The complete application is available for inspection (without charge) or copying (for actual copying costs) at the Township’s office at the address listed above from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Anyone may attend the hearing and those who are affected and have legal standing may participate in the proceedings.
