NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING, INTENT TO ENACT ORDINANCE NO. 1406 TAKE NOTICE, that the East Stroudsburg Borough Council will hold a Public Hearing during a Regular Meeting of Borough Council to enact Ordinance No. 1406, Amending Portions of Chapter 150*Vehicles and Traffic on the Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at 7:45 PM in the Borough of East Stroudsburg Municipal Building, located at 24 Analomink Street, East Stroudsburg, PA. After the hearing, and during the continuance of the meeting, the Borough Council will, if in order, consider and vote upon the Ordinance as well as conduct any other business which may come before the Borough Council at that time. In lieu of setting forth the entire Ordinance, a brief summary of the proposed Ordinance is, as follows: Chapter 150*Vehicles And Traffic: Section 150.68, Schedule XVI, Parking Prohibited at All Times to Amend Parking Prohibition on Locations on Washington Street; Section 150.71, Schedule XIX, Special Purpose Parking Zones to Provide Two Parking Spaces on Crystal Street for Commercial Food Pickup; Section 150.23, Parking Prohibit to Amend Double Parking, Standing, or Stopping for non-commercial vehicles on Crystal Street; of the Borough of East Stroudsburg Code Of Ordinances shall be amended to add parking prohibitions on portions of Washington Street and to amend the location and purpose of two parking spaces on Crystal Street, and to amend double parking, standing, or stopping for non-commercial vehicles on Crystal Street. The Ordinance shall also contain provisions for savings, severability, repealer, and effective date. The hearing is open to the public. All interested parties are welcome to attend and will have an opportunity to be heard. The proposed Ordinance can be examined without charge or obtained for a charge not greater than the actual cost of reproduction thereof at the East Stroudsburg Municipal Building at the address set forth above during normal business hours (8AM to 5PM, Monday-Friday) and online at the East Stroudsburg Borough Website www.eaststroudsburgboro.org during regular business hours.
