NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TAKE NOTICE that the Zoning Hearing Board of the Borough of Stroudsburg, acting by and through a hearing officer in accordance with Section 906 of the Municipalities Planning Code, will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 beginning at 4:30 p.m., in the Borough’s meeting room at 700 Sarah Street, 2nd Floor, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. The purpose of the hearing is to consider the application of Manuel Perez for Special Exception Use Approval for general contractor office space and tool/equipment rental at 480 North Eighth Street, Stroudsburg, PA. Under § 27-907.3 of the Borough’s Zoning Ordinance, the change of a non-conforming use to another non-conforming use is permitted as a special exception, subject to the Zoning Hearing Board’s finding that the standards listed in that Section are met. Constantinos Kallinteris and Irene Kallinteris, co-trustees of the Kallinteris Living Trust, are the owners of record of the subject property, which is located at 480 North Eighth Street, in the Borough of Stroudsburg, Monroe County, Pennsylvania, in the Medium Density Residential (R-2) zoning district. The property is also identified as Parcel ID No. 18-3.1.1.13 and Map No. 18-7301-18-30-9641. The complete application is available for inspection (without charge) or copying (for actual copying costs) at the Borough’s office at the address listed above on weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Anyone may attend the hearing and those who are affected and have legal standing may participate in the proceedings.
