NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING TAKE NOTICE that the Pocono Township Zoning Hearing Board will hold public hearings on Tuesday, July 23, 2024 beginning at 5:00 P.M., at the Pocono Township Municipal Building, 112 Township Drive, Tannersville, Pennsylvania 18372. One of the hearings, which will be taken in the order in which they were received by the Township, is to consider the application of Gardel Edma for a variance from Section 470-17(C)(1) and Attachment 2 (R-1 District Lot, Yard and Height Requirements) of the Pocono Township Zoning Ordinance, which restricts the impervious coverage of properties in the Low Density Residential District (R-1) to 20%. Applicant seeks to construct an addition to his existing residence resulting in 39% impervious coverage of his property. Gardel J. Edma is the owner of record of the subject property, which is located at 100 Tyrolean Way, Henryville, Pennsylvania 18332, in the R-1 zoning district of Pocono Township. The property is also identified as Parcel ID No. 12.4A.1.4 and Map No. 12-6384-03-11-1382. The complete application is available for inspection (without charge) or copying (for actual copying costs) at the Township’s office at the address listed above from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Anyone may attend the hearing and those who are affected and have legal standing may participate in the proceedings.
