PUBLIC NOTICE OWNER-OCCUPIED HOUSING REHABILITATION PROGRAM RURAL DEVELOPMENT SERVICES GRANT SUBMISSION The Redevelopment Authority of the County of Monroe, Pennsylvania, intends to submit an application to the Rural Development Services for a Housing Preservation Grant under Section 533. The amount of the program request is for approximately $176,277 to be used for rehabilitation grants for approximately five (5) households with 50% or less of the County of Monroe’s median income. Very low-income homeowners in the rural areas of the County of Monroe will be eligible to receive the rehabilitation grants. A “Statement of Activities” for the proposed grant has been prepared and is available for review Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30am and 4:30pm at the office of the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Monroe, 701 Main Street, Suite 502, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. This “Statement of Activities” will be on file until July 22, 2024. Very low-income homeowners interested in this program and living within the rural communities of Monroe County should contact the Redevelopment Authority of the County of Monroe at 570-421-4300.
