PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE TO BIDDERS SEALED PROPOSALS will be accepted by Price Township until 10:00 AM, on Tuesday, July 17, 2024 at the Price Township Municipal Building, 10 Barren Road, East Stroudsburg, PA 18302, for the following Contracts: 2024 Paving Proposal on T-569 White Birch Drive and T-570 Laurel Ridge Drive in Price Township, Monroe County 510 Tons of 9.5mm Wearing Course, PG64S-22, 0 to 0.3 Million ESALs, SRL-L, 1 ½ Depth/180 LB/SY 2024 Rescue Plan Paving Proposal on T-528 Circle H Road will consist of the following: 2,181 Tons of 9.5 mm Wearing Course, PG64S-22, 0 to 0.3 Million ESALs, SRL-L, 1½ Depth/180 LB/SY All materials must meet PENNDOT Pub. 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders need to be PENNDOT prequalified. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Proposals shall be marked 2024 Paving Road Program and/or 2024 Paving Road Program*Circle H. Proposal forms, specifications and bid information can be obtained at the Price Township Municipal Building at the above address or by calling John Brush, Roadmaster at 570-223-5082 Monday thru Friday 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. All bidders should contact John Brush for a project walk thru, prior to bidding. All bidders submitting a bid must schedule a pre-bid meeting. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Price Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. All bids will be opened and read publicly at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at the Township Building and, pending review, awarded at the Supervisors Meeting at approximately 7:00 PM on Thursday, July 18, 2024. Price Township reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and may also waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Municipality. Pennsylvania Prevailing Wages WILL Apply to the 2024 Rescue Plan Proposal but will not apply to 2024 Paving Proposal.
