INVITATION TO BID Notice is hereby given that Monroe County Municipal Waste Management Authority, herein after, The Waste Authority, will receive sealed bids for the installation of a septic system for its Military Road Recycling Facility. The work required shall include, but is not limited to, all labor, materials, tools and supervision to complete the work described in the bid document/specifications. Bid document/specifications are available, free of charge, by calling the Monroe County Municipal Waste Management Authority at 570-643-6100 or by person at the Waste Authority offices in Blakeslee, 183 Commercial Boulevard, Blakeslee, PA, 18610. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope prior to the bid opening date and time. Bids will only be accepted at The Waste Authority offices located at 183 Commercial Blvd, Blakeslee, PA, 18610. Bids must be submitted prior to 12:00pm, noon, on Mon-day, July 8th, 2024. Any bids received after the bid opening date and time will be rejected, unopened and re-turned to the sender. The Waste Authority will not be responsible for any bids not delivered, or on time, by a third party. No pre-bid meeting is re-quired, however if any interested bidder wishes to visit the site you will need to contact John Hickey, Operations Manager, to arrange a site visit. The site is located at 1114 Military Road, Stroudsburg, PA, 18360. Any questions about the bid document/specifications may be submitted in writing to John Hickey, Operations Manager, up to 4:00 PM on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2024. No questions will be received or responded to after this date. Responses will be pro-vided in writing no later than 4:00 pm on Friday, July 5th. Bidders shall only rely on information that is contained in the bid specifications or answers to questions pro-vided in writing by John Hickey, Operations Manager. Monroe County Municipal Waste Management Authority reserves the right to ac-cept or reject any and all bids or any portions thereof, or to waive any informalities and to withhold award for a period of 60 days.
