Public Notice For Immediate Release The Richard Astwood Jr. Autism Culinary Institute (RAACI) Launches New Service to Support Challenged Adults Tannersville, June 6, 2024 - The Richard Astwood Jr. Autism Culinary Institute (RAACI), a non-profit organization committed to cultivating culinary independence for differently-abled adults, is thrilled to announce the launch of a new service aimed at supporting challenged adults. At RAACI, we are dedicated to providing comprehensive cooking and nutritional education, promoting health, wellness, socialization, and self-reliance among our community members. Our mission is to empower our chefs to lead fulfilling and independent lives. Lori Astwood, Founder and CEO of RAACI, emphasizes the importance of this program, stating, It offers challenged adults another option in day programming. The services provided by RAACI will include cooking classes, shopping assistance, gardening and growing vegetables, and opportunities for socialization.
