TO HECTOR MORALES a/k/a CARLOS MORALES: By Order dated May 22, 2024 the Court permitted Service by Publication of the below Petition for Motor Vehicle Title: 1. Plaintiff in the above matter is R&T International Muffler and Brake, Inc., a Pennsylvania Corporation, with an address of 1951 West Main Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. 2. The Defendant is Hector Morales, an adult individual with a last known address of 814 Sarah Street, Stroudsburg, PA 18360. 3. On or about November 18, 2022, Defendant brought vehicle into Plaintiffs place of business 1951 West Main Street, Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania 18360 for investigation and any needed repairs. 4. Defendant's complaint was the vehicle was losing power. After investigation it was determined that the vehicle needed a new motor and a price was quoted for such work and a bill issued for diagnostic work performed. 5. The Defendant was advised of the needed work but Defendant did not authorize the work and did not make arrangements to pick up the Vehicle although requested to do so. 6. The Defendant was advised that Plaintiff would charge a storage fee in the amount of $55.00 per day commencing in May 2020. 7. Defendant never made any arrangements to pick up the vehicle, or otherwise have the vehicle removed from Plaintiffs lot. 8. Plaintiff requested for the title for the vehicle but Defendant has not responded to such request. 9. The vehicle continues to be present on Defendant's lot and Plaintiff believes and therefore avers that the Defendant has abandoned the vehicle. 10. The vehicle is a 2005 Toyota Tacoma bearing Vehicle Identification Number 5TELU42N85Z1132221. The vehicle is licensed in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. 11. Attached hereto and made part hereof by this reference as Exhibit A is Plaintiffs invoice for the diagnostic work performed and storage charges. 12. The Plaintiff would like to obtain certificate of title for the vehicle. A hearing is scheduled on the Petition on August 8, 2024 at 2:30 p.m. in a courtroom to be determined, Monroe County Courthouse, Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania. James V. Fareri, Esq.
