NOTICE TO BIDDERS SEALED PROPOSALS will be accepted by the Chestnuthill Township Board of Supervisors until 11:00 a.m., on Monday, May 6, 2024 at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building, P.O. Box 243, Brodheadsville, PA 18322 for the following: “In Place Paving” on various roads located in Chestnuthill Township, Monroe County 9,096 Tons of 9.5mm Superpave, WMA 180 lb/sy Wearing Course 43,400 LF 4” Double Yellow Center Line with Glass Beads All materials must meet PENNDOT Pub. 408 Specifications and Standards. Bid-ders may be either a PENNDOT prequalified Prime or Sub Contractor and must supply proof of pre-qualification. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Proposal forms, specifications and bid information can be obtained at the Chestnuthill Township Municipal Building at the above ad-dress or by calling Mike Manfre at 570-992-7247 Extension 25, Monday through Fri-day, 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. All bidders should review the project with the township. For further information con-tact Dave Scheller or Mike Manfre Extension 25 at 570-992-7247, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Chestnuthill Township. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract and a certificate of liability insurance acceptable to the municipality prior to the start of any work. All bids will be opened publicly and read at approximately 11:15 a.m., on Mon-day May 6, 2024 at the Township Building. The bids will be presented to the Board of Supervisors at the regular scheduled meeting of the Chestnuthill Township Board of Supervisors on Tuesday May 7, 2024 at approximately 7:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the agenda allows. The Chestnuthill Township Board of Supervisors re-serves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project de-pending on budgetary con-straints and to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Township.
