Pocono Record Notice of Intent to Remediate to an Environmental Standard & Notification of a Final Report Submission. (Sections 302(e)(1)(ii), 303(h)(1)(ii), 304(n)(1)(i), and 305(c)(1)) Pursuant to the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act, the act of May 19, 1995, P.L. 4, No. 1995-2, notice is hereby given that the Remediator, Richard and Donna Weber (responsible party), has submitted to the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (PADEP) a Notice of Intent to Remediate (NIR) for the property located at 106 Weber Road in Coolbaugh Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. This NIR states that in June 2024, a No. 2 fuel oil release from a 275-gallon above ground storage tank (AST) was discovered at the property. Following the release, the site was found to be contaminated with No. 2 fuel oil which impacted soil underlying the site. The responsible party has indicated that the remediation measures (i.e., excavation of impacted soil) will minimize the potential for human and environmental exposure by attaining a Statewide Health Standard for soil, established under the Land Recycling and Environmental Remediation Standards Act. Notice is hereby given that Richard and Donna Weber have submitted a Final Report to the PADEP, Northeast Regional Office, for the property located at 106 Weber Road in Coolbaugh Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania. The responsible party has indicated that the remediation measures taken have attained compliance with Statewide Health Standards for soil established under the Land Recycling and Environmental Standards Act.
