NOTICE TO BIDDERS Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County SEALED PROPOSALS will be accepted by Tunkhannock Township until 12:00 PM on March April 9, 2025, at the Tunkhannock Township Building, 1557 Long Pond Road, Long Pond, PA 18334, for the following contract: “2025 Seal Coat Project” on Various Roads in Tunkhannock Township, Monroe County, Pennsylvania Project A: Single Bituminous Seal Coat followed by a Type II Slurry Seal installed, and Line painting on Tunkhannock Township Roads Project B: Single Bituminous Seal Coat followed by a Type II Slurry Seal installed, and line painting on Tunkhannock Township and Tobyhanna Township Roads All Materials must meet PENNDOT Pub 408. Specifications and Standards. Bid-ders need to be PENNDOT prequalified. Proposals must be on forms provided by Tunkhannock. Proposals shall be marked “2025 Seal Coat Project.” Proposal forms, specifications and bid information can be obtained at the Tunkhannock Township Municipal Building at the above ad-dress or by calling Byron Witt, Road Master, at 570-872-3012, Monday – Friday 7:00 Am to 3:30 PM. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten (10%) percent of the bid made payable to Tunkhannock Township. The successful bidder is re-quired to provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract price within 20 days of the award of the contract. All bids will be open and read publicly at 12:05 PM on March 12, 2025, at the Township Building and, pending review, awarded at the Board of Supervisors Meeting at approximately 4:00 PM on April 26, 2025. Tunkhannock Township re-serves the right to accept or reject any and. or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or por-tions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and may also waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interest of the Township.
