PUBLIC NOTICE -BID OPENING/AWARD MEETING April 11, 2024 @ 6:00 PM SEALED PROPOSALS WILL BE accepted by the Jackson Township Board of Supervisors of Monroe County, at the Municipal Bldg., 2162 Route 715S, PO Box 213, Reeders, PA 18352 until 3:30 PM on April 11, 2024 for the following: MAINTENANCE: 1. 1,100 Tons Superpave Wearing Course 9.5 mm - More or Less – FOB only 2. 700 Tons Superpave Wearing Course 19.0 mm - More or Less – FOB only 3. 100 Tons Superpave Wearing Course 25.0 mm - More or Less – FOB only 4. 100 Tons High Performance Cold Patch (UPM or Equivalent) - More or Less – FOB only 5. 300 Tons PA-2A Sub Base - More or Less – FOB or delivered 6. 200 Tons PA-3A Sub Base - More or Less – FOB or delivered 7. 150 Tons AASTO #1 - More or Less – FOB or delivered – Old #4 Stone 8. 150 Tons Gabion Stone (Class B 4”-8”) - More or Less – FOB or delivered 9. 1,100 Gallons TAC Coat – FOB only 10. 3,000 Tons Anti-Skid “AS2” - More or Less - FOB and/or Delivered Penn DOT Specifications Pub. 408 Asphalt bids: 1. PG Grade – 64-22 where AC20 was used 2. ESAL – (Equivalent Single Axle Load) Trucks per day – 0 to 40 0.0 to 0.3 million 3. SRL (Skid Resistance Level) Determination SRL-L Determination Avg. Daily Traffic 1,000 or Below All material must comply with current State Specifications and meet the approval of the Board of Supervisors/or Township Roadmaster. All bidders must supply a copy of PA State Certification for all crushed stone and all super pave material, at the end of each purchase day FOB or delivered. Proposals must be on State Forms and be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the bid made payable to the municipality. The successful bidder must provide the municipality with a Performance Bond in the amount of the contract. All items must be on a MORE or LESS basis. The Supervisors reserve the right to reject any or all proposals. Bid forms may be obtained at the Township Office, Monday- Friday 8AM-4PM, or by email.
