NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING The Stroud Township Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on Monday, April 8, 2024, beginning at 2:00 P.M., at the Stroud Township Municipal Center, 1211 North 5th Street, Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania 18360. The purpose of the hearing is to consider Budget Store & Lock, Inc.’s application to amend the conditional use decision dated June 3, 2014 (as amended and restated and approved by Court Order dated November 21, 2014). That conditional use decision approved the subject property, known as Unit D, together with the adjacent properties, known as Units A, B, and C, for use as a shopping center. Together, Units A, B, C, and D are a condominium. Subsequently, Units A, B, and C were developed as a shopping center consistent with the conditional use decision. Applicant seeks permission to amend the conditional use decision to develop Unit D as a self-storage facility, which is permitted by special exception in the C-2 zoning district. Unit D will be operated as part of the condominium but will not be part of the shopping center. DEPG Parcel D, LLC is the owner of record of the subject property and Applicant is under contract to purchase it. The property is located at 291 Travelers Way, in Stroud Township, and is further identified as Parcel ID # 17.17.1.17-3 and Map # 17-6381-00-73-0488. The property is located in the General Commercial (C-2) zoning district.
