PUBLIC NOTICE NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Zoning Hearing Board of Tunkhannock Township has scheduled a Public Hearing at the Tunkhannock Township Municipal Building, 1557 Long Pond Road, Long Pond, Monroe County, Pennsylvania 18334 on Wednesday, April 2, 2025 at 4:00 p.m. for consideration of the application of Donald C. Miler, Jr. for a variance to install a fence of 6 feet in height and to allow the use of a licensed recreational vehicle for hunting camp purposes. In addition, the Zoning Hearing Board shall hear the appeals of Donald C. Miller, Jr. from (i) the Zoning Officer’s Enforcement Notice No. 250007 dated January 6, 2025 related to the use of a Recreational Vehicle and camping activities on the property, and (ii) Enforcement Notice No. 240022 dated April 16, 2024 and the Zoning Officer’s interpretation in a letter dated April 25, 2024 related to the installation of a fence on the property. The application and appeals relate to the property located at 242 Candle Drive, Blakeslee, PA 18610, Property Identification Number 20633203001037. The property is located in the R-1 zoning district of the Township and is owned by Donald C. Miller, Jr. Copies of the applications may be examined without charge or obtained for a charge not greater than the actual cost of reproduction thereof at the Tunkhannock Township Municipal Building, Long Pond, Pennsylvania, during regular business hours.
